This is the distance as laid, from the point at which the pipes(s) will leave the room being heated, to the manifold location.

Keep in mind how you intend to install the heating within any room these pipes will pass through, these pipes will usually run around the perimeter of those rooms.

The target air temperature you wish to to acheive.

Typically:

• 22°C in Bathrooms and Wet Rooms
• 21°C in Living and Sitting Rooms
• 18°C in Other Rooms

Your choice of floor finish will affect the system heat output. Less resistive materials will allow for higher heat outputs at lower water temperatures.

Keep in mind, the floor finish you select now, may change in the years to come.

Floor finishes such as Timber and Vinyl are limited to 27°C and may limit the heat output as a result.

The thickness of your chosen floor finish. Do not include underlays, these are automatically accounted for and are assumed to be low tog UFHcompatible underlays.
