Electric underfloor heating systems use resistive wires to generate heat and are installed close to the surface of the floor.
The wires are placed at set spacing to provide uniform heat across the floor.
Electric underfloor heating is installed into separate zones/rooms and controlled by individual thermostats.
The thermostat detects when the floor/air temperature falls activating the relay on the thermostat to deliver power to the underfloor heating system.
The system is controlled using thermostats with air and or floor sensors, weather compensators or a combination of them all.
The systems can be installed into new builds or renovations and are easy to install, requiring only the electrical connections to be carried out by a qualified electrician.
